在1952年所設計的CowHorn Chair牛角椅是HansJ. Wegner在Thechair設計成就的突破，形狀和理念上的延續顯而易見，為了向壯麗的實木致敬，Wegner希望製作出一個造型簡潔的作品，因此扶手和背部的實木減少成兩個部分，並以精準的榫接結合於椅背中央。在這裡結合顯然需要以某種的隱藏式的木釘結構來加以結合，但HansJ. Wegner 認為與其隱藏必要的榫接結構，不如將此榫接結構凸顯出來，他運用了對比色的木材讓榫接成為裝飾中的一部分，也成為CowHorn Chair的一大特點。這個最初的想法，後來成為在他作品裡的一個特殊的象徵，另外為了增加椅圈與椅腿的接合面積讓結構更穩固，椅腿頂端呈現出扇形的設計這張牛角椅雖然不大，卻是Wegner集工藝與藝術於一身之作！
